As the saying goes ‘a good heart goes a long way’, while others are limited to just Rapping in the SA hip hop space, others take things a little further.

SA has most of its rappers who have done more good for others than one can possibly count, sometimes most of these charitable acts aren’t caught on camera but still count as good. SA hip hop stars prove that it doesn’t have to be a greedy sport where they eat alone in the table of success.

Stogie T

If he’s not delivering sick verses, Stogie is busy helping the needy from his home town. He may not have dropped images showcasing the act but he shared 2 images where he and his family were giving out food to the less privileged.

He may be one of the most controversial figures but he still proves to have a good heart. This year he donated food & R100 000 to WITS Humanitarian fund students, established an initiation #FeesForAllMegaConcert to help students with Fees.

Gigi Lamayne

As someone who is still working to top her career it has been amazing to see how she is forever willing to uplift others as well. This year she helped young girls get exposure for their rapping abilities and came up with the proposal that created job opportunities for unemployed people.

The impact he has had on the hip hop game might as well be considered charitable to the youth of SA, the inspiration is unmatched. This year he donated more 15 Samsung galaxies to fans.

She is one celebrity who comes through for those in need. She has done so much but one act that had most people adore her even more was when she sent an e-wallet money to a student who complained about being hungry and broke.
